Q. What is Comi Girl?

A. Our slogan says it all: “It’s Not Just A Fanboy’s World”. Comi Girl

is a site for girls and guys who enjoy comic books, designer toys, art,

manga, anime, fantasy, and sci-fi (just to name a few).

Q. How did you come up with the name?

A. Fanboy and Fangirl are the terms used to refer to anyone who likes

comics, sci-fi, etc; if you do a search on those terms you will find that

they normally hold a negative connotation (fanatical, obsessed, single

minded).  I wanted to get as far away from those stereotypes as

possible. As I started getting more into Japanese pop culture I kept

coming across the word comi being used for magna & anime. I started

playing with different combinations of names utilizing the word comi,

what better combination than Comi Girl?
